Austin Healy Sprite Mk IV Restoration Site
![]()
this is what it will hopefully look like!!
My mum used to drive a mark IV Austin Healy Sprite, and kept it after it became un-roadworthy in 1984. It has sat in the garden to this day, gradually becoming more and more impractical to restore, even though I would have liked to. In December 2002, I saw an advert in the local small ads offering a 1967 Austin Healy Sprite for sale with most of the bodywork that needed doing already done, so I went and had a look. So far I have finsihed stripping down the bodyshell. I have started to restore the wire wheels, and I have started welding up the few patches that still needed to be done.
Because I boought the 2nd sprite as a bodyshell with all of the parts not attached I havent looked at many of the parts yet, and as a result these pages dont contain any information:
Suspension
Brakes
Engine
Electrics
Interior
Misc
